I have been a Personal Trainer since 2003 working at clubs in the Burlington, VT area.  Along the way, I learned to teach both Reformer and Mat Pilates and group strength training classes.  I regularly incorporate mat Pilates techniques into my core strengthening programs.

I began running in the spring of 1999 and completed my first half marathon that fall.  In the spring of 2000, I ran the
Vermont City Marathon and have since completed several more road and trail marathons including the 2008 Boston Marathon.  My first ultra race was in 2005 completing the VT50K Ultra Run and Mtn Bike race.  In 2006, I ran the VT50 Mile Ultra Run and Mtn Bike race.  To date, I have completed several ultra distance races including the inaugural Iroquois Trails 100 Mile Endurance Run in Virgil, NY in 2008.

I'm a NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Road Runners Club of America certified Running Coach, PSIA Level 2 certified Alpine Ski Instructor and Nordic Alpine Level 1 Instructor (I teach at Stowe Mtn Resort), currently Secretary of the Green Mountain Athletic Association (GMAA), Mater Christi Middle School XC coach, former Girls On The Run coach, CPR, First Aid and AED certified and fully insured.  I'm also a mom to two active boys, Charles and Philip and have a significant other, Jack.
